Privacy Policy

When you request an estimate, you give us:

• Your first and last name, email address and phone number.
• How you prefer to be contacted (email, phone call or text message).
• Your vehicle’s year, make and model, and whether it is drivable.
• Your vehicle’s VIN (optional).
• Your insurance company (optional).
• A description of what happened.
• Photos of the damage that you choose to upload.

To protect the form from spam, we also keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your network address and your browser type together with the request. We use them only to detect abuse.

Please do not upload photos that show people’s faces, license plates or personal documents unless they are needed to show the damage.

We use this information only to review your request, prepare your estimate and contact you about it. We contact you by the method you chose, which can be email, a phone call, a text message or WhatsApp, to answer your request and take care of your repair. We do not send promotional campaigns. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising through this website.

Insurance claims are handled separately by our shop. This website’s form only asks for the name of your insurance company, and only if you want to share it.

Your request and photos are saved in private storage on Vercel Blob, which is not open to the public. Photos can only be opened through private links, and those links stop working when your request is deleted.

When a request is received, our team gets an email at our business address with your details and photos (attached, or as private links when the files are large). The email is sent by Resend, an email delivery service, and received through our email provider (Microsoft). These providers handle the message on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies, and Resend keeps its own delivery records for a limited period.

The website itself runs on Vercel, which also keeps standard technical logs (for example request times and error codes). Our logs for the estimate form do not include your name, phone number, email address or photos.

• Google Fonts: the site loads its typefaces from Google. Google receives your network address and browser details when the fonts are requested.
• Google Maps: the Contact page shows an embedded Google map. Loading it lets Google receive information such as your network address and may set cookies under Google’s own policies.
• Website platform: some of the site’s images are served from our website builder’s hosting, which receives your network address when they load.
• Links to other services: buttons for WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google open those services, which have their own privacy policies.

This website does not use advertising pixels or analytics tools, and it does not set its own tracking cookies.

In our system, requests, photos and the files related to them are kept for 15 days. They are then deleted automatically by a cleanup that runs once a day, so deletion normally happens within 16 days of your request. If the cleanup is interrupted, it can take longer.

We try to deliver each request to our team by email, and if the delivery fails we try again every day. We cannot guarantee that every request will reach us. If a request has not reached our team by the time it is due for deletion, it is deleted anyway.

Copies of the estimate email, including attachments, that our team receives are kept in our business mailbox. The shop owner deletes them within 20 days.

Photos or documents that become part of a repair job or an insurance claim are handled separately by our shop under that job’s own records.

You can ask us what information we hold about your request, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it together with your photos. Write to wlautocollision@hotmail.com, and tell us the name and phone number you used so we can find your request.

The website uses HTTPS. Estimate requests are stored privately, and photo links are private. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we change how the website handles your information, we will update this page and the date above.
